The Temple CVB is proud to host the Santa Fe Railway Historical
& Modeling Society's National Convention at the
Mayborn Convention Center this week. This is an independent non-profit corporation
devoted to preserving, studying and sharing information about all aspects of
the former Santa Fe Railway, from its rich history and fascinating operations
to its distinctive equipment and facilities. The four day convention will
feature workshops, field trips and seminars designed to further this mission.
The group has constructed amazing model railroad exhibits in the Main Hall.... along with other exhibits and items for sale.
